Help for jobseekers extended into 2014

Due the popularity of Stone Library’s recent job support events, it has been decided to extend them into the New Year.

December will see another opportunity for local jobseekers in the Stone area to get help with finding work or training.

As part of a partnership initiative including National Careers Service, Signposts, Staffordshire County Council’s ‘Start2’ with Jobcentre Plus, Stone Library’s job support events will continue on the first Tuesday of every month until at least Tuesday 4th March 2014.

The next job support afternoon will be held on Tuesday 3rd December at Stone Library in Market Square from noon to 3pm. This FREE drop-in event is aimed at anyone who would like to know more about a new career, current vacancies, starting their own business, or looking to find a way back into education, retraining, volunteering, etc. Help available on the day will include support with online job searches, basic IT skills, CV’s and interview techniques.
