A full review of the town’s services was carried out at the end of last year and the council now wants people’s views on several of the revised routes that are currently operating in and around the Stone area to see if the services are meeting passengers’ needs.
The routes the council wants views on are:
1 – Serving Stone and Walton
2 – Serving Stone, Aston Lodge and Cherryfields
4 – Linking Stone and Longton and serving Oulton, Rough Close, Meir Heath, Fulford, Saverley Green, Cresswell, Draycott in the Moors, Stallington, Blythe Bridge and Meir
190 – Providing a link between Cranberry and Newcastle and also serving, Standon, Cotes Heath, Swynnerton, Beech and Hanchurch
435 – Linking Stone and Stafford serving Little Stoke, Sandon, Weston, Salt, Hopton, and Stafford Hospital
490 – Linking Stone and Stafford serving Yarnfield, Swynnerton, Eccleshall, Norton Bridge, Great Bridgeford and Seighford
These revised services have operated since April this year with financial support from the county council.
