Stone Town Council meetings will be held on Thursday 4th June.
Three meetings will be held, starting at 7pm with a meeting of the full council, before meetings of the General Purposes Committee and Planning Committee.
Members of the public can attend all meetings of the town council. The entrance is at the rear of the town council building in Station Road (opposite Wetherspoons).
Items of interest at the General Purposes Committee include a members’ item from Cllr Geoff Collier about traffic calming measures in Old Road; the proposed gap alterations in the A34 central reservation at the Fillybrooks; and the proposed lease for Stone youth centre. Links to the agendas for all three meetings are below.
If there is anything in the agendas for the General Purposes Committee or Planning Committee that you wish to speak to the committee about, you need to give the town clerk, Les Trigg, at least two working days’ notice. So for the meetings on Thursday 4th June, you would need to let the clerk know by the end of Tuesday 2nd June.
For meetings of the full council, residents can address the Council on any issue that concerns them which falls within the Council’s remit. Residents who wish to contribute need to contact the town clerk at least 10 working days before the meeting to allow time for the item to be included within the agenda.
The town clerk can be contacted on 01785 619740 or by emailing email@example.com
