Birchill & Watson pharmacy in Stone High Street will be creating a special Remembrance Day window display again this year – and they’ve appealed for people in the town to share their photos and memories of relatives who have served their country in conflict.
The window has been created for the last few years by pharmacy assistant Linda Blackburn, and it’s become a real part of Remembrance Day commemorations in the town. Previous windows have contained photographs, memorabilia and local people’s stories, and Linda wants to make this year’s window the best yet.
She said: “The window is a tribute to all the people in the town who sacrificed so much during conflict, especially the two World Wars. I’d love to hear from anyone who would like their relative featured in this year’s window display. I really want to make this year’s display extra special.”
If you can help Linda, you can call into Birchill & Watson, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01785 812597.
