Following the success of last year’s memorial cricket tournament the friends and family of Phil ‘Skinny’ James are holding another cricket match, this time in aid of Diabetes UK.
The day is taking place at Stone SP Cricket club on Sunday 28th August.
As per the previous match there will be 4 teams taking part in the day to try and win the trophy. The first game starts at 10.30am and the team captains are :-
- LEE JAMES
- RORY JONES
- BEN CLEGG
- DANNY CUTLER
Players are again paying £10 each to take part, all of which goes to the Diabetes UK charity.
There will be breakfasts available from 9.30-12.30 and then BBQ from around 1pm.
There have been many donations for the big raffle and tombola which will be ran on the day.
Prizes include meal vouchers, hairdressing vouchers, golf vouchers, bottles, Photoshoot, gift cards and lots more!
Raffle tickets will be avavilable on the day @ £1 a strip!
The bar opens at stone at 12pm and they’re hoping for a lot of people to turn up to remember Phil who was known by so many as a kind and loving lad.
Diabetes UK will have a stall there on the day promoting the charity and giving out information.
