An Evening with Damian Wilson & Adam Wakeman

Two world-renowned musicians are coming to Stone in a fully acoustic intimate house concert.
Taking place in the atmospheric surroundings of the Hayes, a 200-year old mansion close to Stone, Staffordshire , the concert features Damian on vocals and acoustic guitar and Adam on piano, vocals and acoustic guitar, playing songs from their individual back catalogues and artists they have worked with, along with tracks from their new album “Weirkeepers Tale”. Songs will be intertwined with stories and memories from their extensive touring careers.
Tickets for the one off event are £30, which includes a buffet meal, and can be purchased in advance only from https://wilsonwakeman.eventbrite.co.uk/. There will not be a bar at the event, but people are welcome to bring their own alcohol. All the food will be vegetarian, but if you have any specific dietary requirements please get in touch.
Most well known as the keyboard player with Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, Adam has also released 9 albums with father Rick Wakeman (Progressive rock band Yes and TV series Grumpy Old Men) as well as releasing 4 solo albums. As a classically trained pianist, his albums cross many genres and styles from classical, to rock.
He co wrote the 2010 platinum selling album “Scream” with Ozzy Osbourne and has toured extensively with Ozzy, Travis, Annie Lennox, Will Young, Slash, 10CC and many more. The most recent Black Sabbath “THE END” world tour saw over 80 shows in 30 countries around the world to over a million people.
is a singer-songwriter widely known for his contribution to the progressive rock and metal genre as lead singer for bands such as Threshold, Headspace and Landmarq. He has recorded four solo albums; Cosmas, Disciple, Live in Rehearsal and Let’s Start a Commune. Aside from performing as a solo artist, he has often performed with several guest musicians as the Damian Wilson Band. The last DWB tour was filmed and released on DVD.
As a well respected and highly sought after guest vocalist he has worked on projects with Ayreon, Star One and Gary Hughes. Damian has also worked with
Rick Wakeman’s English Rock Ensemble, Guy Fletcher, Aina, After Forever, Mostly Autumn and Praying Mantis. He is currently frontman for the Maiden United project. He played the lead role of Jean Valjean in Les Misérables on their UK National Tour.
