Paul’s putting on his running shoes for Katharine

paul reevesPaul Reeves moved to Stone over 10 years ago and fell in love with our Staffordshire canal town

As an out-of-towner Paul decided he’d like to give something back to the community which he now calls home and so Paul has taken part in the Stafford half marathon and will be also running the London marathon.

Paul’s chosen charity is the Katharine House Hospice and he hopes to raise over £1500 from both events.  What’s more his employer, Yorkshire Bank, have agreed to match pound for pound whatever he raises!

After months and months of getting up on cold dark mornings and pounding the streets of Stone Paul is now ready to take on the challenge of running the London Marathon and is asking the good people of Stone for their support.

Katharine House provides free hospice care services in Mid Staffordshire for people faced with an illness that cannot be cured. Their aim is to enable patients, and those close to them, to live as fully as possible and make the most of the time that’s left.
