Students Take to the Stage for “Wonderland” Performance

Stone’s Rooftop Studios students and staff at  are ready to take the stage from Tuesday 13th June for their Bi-Annual show.

Themed around fairytale and fantasy, ‘Wonderland’ is a celebration of singing, dancing and drama. Every student aged 2.5 – 18 years will showcase their skills in front of friends and family at the Stoke Rep Theatre; with performances running every evening from Tuesday 13th – Saturday 17th June plus a Saturday matinee.

Studio director, Laura Keeling, says:

“We are really excited about the show and seeing the students showcase all their hard work. I am hugely proud of everyone involved and impressed by the commitment they’ve shown in preparing for the performance. Our bi-annual shows are the culmination of two years’ hard work in every discipline – including RAD ballet, tap, Drama, street dance, stage academy and more.

“It’s show packed with fun and energy where youngsters can not only show friends and family what they’ve learned at the studio but also get a feel for being a part of a professionally run show. All our teachers are professional performers in their own right so we aim to recreate the atmosphere of a professional run in the West End – from an intense dress and technical rehearsal schedule through to the backstage buzz and comradeship between performers.”

‘Wonderland’ will run from Tuesday 13th – Saturday 17th June at the Stoke Rep Theatre. Tickets are priced at £12.50pp / £10.50 concessions and are available from www.rooftopstudios.co.uk

Themes of the show, which will feature every student at Rooftop Studios, include Peter Pan and Captain Hook, Harry Potter and Fairies to name just a handful…
