The Stone Railhead Crisis Group (SRCG) is holding a public meeting to discuss their alternative proposal at Aldersey’s Rough, near Keele Services.
The meeting will include a presentation that details SRCG’s evaluation of the practical engineering and environmental difficulties that HS2 Ltd will face between Walton and Yarnfield, near Stone, as well as details of an alternative railhead and maintenance base option, which they believe will provide a far better solution to everyone, including HS2 Ltd itself.
There will also be a breakdown of how SRCG has engaged with HS2 Ltd over recent months to communicate ideas, and what the company is proposing with its forthcoming consultation process, and an explanation of how the
Hybrid Bill can be implemented and how you can play your part in influencing the parliamentary process, which began on 17th July 2017.
The Public Meeting will be held at Yarnfield Park Conference Centre at 17:00 on Sunday 6th August 2017.
