Tuesday 22 August sees Cannock Chase Children’s Centre hosting a Fun Day, and all families are invited!
The event, on between 12:30 and 3:30pm, is open to families and children and promises a wide range of activities. These include arts and craft, fairground style games, teddy tombola, circus workshop, face painting, magic show and refreshments. Most activities are suitable for under 5’s but older siblings are welcome to attend.
The event is also being supported by local organisations who will be offering support and advice on the day. These include Cannock Chase Leisure Centre, Support Staffordshire and South Staffordshire College.
Mark Sutton, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People at Staffordshire County Council said: “Last year’s event was a real success and we hope to see even more families this year. The day is a great opportunity for local families to have some fun and find out about all the different services available within the area and within the children’s centre. I would encourage everyone to come along and see what help is available.”
The children’s centre acts as a hub for the local community with lots on offer for families of children under 5. Early years sessions to help children to get the best start in life are available along with information, advice and guidance on adult learning courses and employability skills.
