Volunteers Needed for Yarnfield Village Fete

This year’s Yarnfield Village Fete will take place on Saturday 16th September, and the organisers are looking for helpers to make the day go as smoothly as possible.

Starting at 12pm on the Green, the fete will be opened by Crewe Academy up & coming star Adam Jasper. The theme for the fete is “A Day at the Races”, and teams of two adults wanted to take part in the fancy dress pantomime horse Derby, as well as sheepdog and running duck herding,vintage Car display, bouncy castle, Punch & Judy and Nesta’s petting Zoo.

There will also be continual music throughout the day with a band and 2 vocalists. Stafford FM roadshow will also be in attendance.

Entry is free and programmes will be distributed to all houses in Yarnfield.

Volunteers are required to help with erecting tents & marquees plus other preparations on Friday 15th September, then on the day duties will include manning stalls, stewarding, taking down tents etc. There will also be a clean up team needed for the Sunday.
