Stone performing arts academy Rooftop Studios has a host of spooky treats in store for youngsters this October half term – in the form of three days of seasonally creepy workshops.
Aimed at engaging and inspiring youngsters with a host of fun activities whilst offering flexible childcare options for parents; kids aged 3 – 12 can enjoy a full day or half day, with wraparound care options on request.
Tuesday 24th October sees the first session themed as ‘Trick or Treat’, when children will take part in traditional Halloween activities including making scary costumes, apple bobbing, gruesome face painting, hunting for yummy treats and learning dance routines and spooky songs as a group.
Magic comes to the studio on Wednesday 25th October, when it will transform into a Hogwarts-inspired school of witchcraft and wizardry. Youngsters will become a witch or wizard the day; learning songs and dance routines from magical musicals, dressing up in scary costumes, making their own haunted hats, painting scary faces and learning how to cast spells.
Thursday, 26th October is ‘Thriller Thursday’ with a popstar theme seeing kids learn killer dance moves, sing the latest haunted hits and generally have stacks of fun with their friends.
All workshops will be led by Rooftop Studios’ fully qualified and CRB checked staff, who are professional performers in their own right. The cost is £25 per child per day (sibling discount applies) with advance booking essential – for more details and too book online, head to www.rooftopstudios.co.uk
