Arrests after Crown of India disturbance

Two men were arrested in Stone last night after a disturbance at the Crown of India restaurant in Market Square. A 23-year-old man was treated at the scene by paramedics for facial injuries but it’s not believed that he required hospital treatment. Warning after High Street pick-pocket thefts

Staffordshire Police has urged people in Stone to follow simple crime prevention measures after two pick-pocket thefts on Stone High Street. In one theft in April, a large amount of money in a sealed envelope was stolen from a woman’s handbag.
