Walkers raised over £1,000 for local good causes at Stone Lions’ Post Plum Pudding Plod in December.

Fifty-five people got out into the fresh air and walked off some off the festive excess on Wednesday 28th December. Walkers had a choice of a two or five-mile walk around the Yarnfield countryside, starting and ending at the Labour in Vain pub.

A total of £1271.50 was raised for eight local good causes, including £400 to the Lions’ official charity for this year, Stone multiple sclerosis support group SAMS.
