Stone 10k – entries now open

Stone 10k

Entries are now open for the Stone 10k road race, which takes place this year on Sunday 19th June.

This year’s will be the 22nd time that the popular two-lap race around the town has taken place. It’s grown into a permanent fixture in the running calendar, with people travelling from all over the country to take part. It’s one of the flattest 10k courses in the UK, meaning it’s ideal for personal bests! Six hundred people took part last year, with Stone’s Ben Gamble from Tipton Harriers crossing the line first in a time of 32:33.

The race incorporates St Michael’s First School’s summer fayre, making it a great day out for all the family. The event also raises money for the school and Girlguiding Stone Outward Division’s Kenyan SMILE project.

The event is organised by Stone Master Marathoners.

The 2015 race limit was 600 and entry is strictly advance only. Entrants must be at least 15 on race day.

Postal and online entry for the race is now open. Click HERE for more information.
