Yikes! Audition for new Halloween scare attraction!

Right!  Now that’s got your attention, read on!

Performers with a penchant for making people jump are invited to audition for roles in a new live horror attraction that’s launching in Staffordshire this October.

Auditions for the ‘Terror Farm’, which will be based at Lower Drayton Farm near Penkridge, will take place on Sunday, 28th August 2016. The live event is set to take place on twelve evenings throughout October and November, with daytime opportunities also available during October half term.

The team behind the scares is Twisted Attractions, which has won numerous awards for similar events in Birmingham and, with multiple live horror attractions, live music, a fairground, plus food & drink, the evenings promise a veritable feast of frights for horror aficionados.

Both seasoned performers and first timers are welcome to audition and no preparation is required, as actor Joanne Lord, who has performed with the troupe for several years, explains:

“Quite literally anyone is welcome to audition – although if you aged 16-17 you will need parental consent. The audition process will comprise of various acting and character exercises, and we’ll ensure that everyone is put at ease and will get to know each other. Having performed professionally for many years I can honestly say Twisted Attractions is a great company to work for – the camaraderie and teamwork amongst the actors creates a fantastic fun atmosphere to work in, and seeing the reactions of guests as you give them a fright is priceless!”

Auditions will take place from 1pm on Sunday 28th August 2016 at Lower Drayton Farm near Penkridge.  For more information on the Terror Farm and the company behind it, visit
