Inn Ringers annual Christmas concert returns to Stone

It has been a few years now since the The Inn Ringers held their annual Christmas Concert in Stone.

The team, which was formed back in 1977 in a room above the Red Lion in Stone’s High Street, are still going strong. Their annual Christmas concert is now in its 27th year and this year it will be held at Oulton Village Hall on Sunday 11th December at 3pm.

Musical Director for the team Paul Mellor says:

We are really pleased to be going back to Oulton for our annual event – it has been a few years now since we played there. Our Christmas concert is the one event of our year that all the team really look forward to because it is always such a great afternoon.

We are also looking forward to next year when we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary as a handbell team – there are lots of plans in the pipeline to make sure we have a good celebratory year.”

The Inn Ringers will be performing a wide range of Christmas music along with a few of their current concert favourites. There will be a buffet, mince pies and mulled wine during the interval and a raffle for a superb Christmas hamper.

Tickets are £6.00 (including the interval refreshments) and are available by contacting the team secretary Rowena on 07816 545713, or members of the team.

  1. Just want to say a huge thank you to all those people who supported our concert on the 11th. It was a full house and great night – the standing ovation at the end was wonderful – the audience seemed to enjoy it all as much as we (the ringers) did – thank you.
