Stone-based business Planned Office Interiors are asking charities and community groups across Staffordshire who need help with their projects to get in touch as they mark their 40th anniversary in business this year by pledging 40 hours of time.
Formed in 1977, the company provides all aspects of office refurbishment from design and installation to maintenance and modernisation across the UK. Planned Office Interiors has clients across a variety of sectors including schools, manufacturing, healthcare, leisure and professional services. They include NFU Mutual, Zurich and Stafford Borough Council and over the last four decades the company has grown its workforce to a team of 16 and seen turnover increase to more than £4.2 million.
Richard Simpson, director of Planned Office Interiors, took over the reins at the company in April 2015 having begun there in a sales management role in 2009.
He said: “It’s a great achievement to be in business 40 years and I have to thank our loyal clients, our great suppliers and not least the team we have here at Planned Office Interiors, several of whom have been with us for many years. Rather than have a party or event to celebrate this special year, we decided we wanted to put something back into the area by offering the support of our skilled team to local projects. Because we carry out complete commercial refurbishment projects we have access to tradesmen including joiners, electricians, plasterers, painters, so I hope lots of local charities will come forward and take full advantage of their skills.”
