Flip Out Stoke’s Flipping Great Camps for the Summer Holidays

A new programme of supervised holiday camps is available for children and young people across Staffordshire this summer at Stone’s popular trampoline park.

A new Ofsted-registered summer camp programme has launched at Flip Out Stoke, which will provide a wide range of supervised activities for local children aged 5 to 14 throughout the summer holidays.

The summer programme is being billed as ‘guilt free childcare” by owners of the arena, at Stone Business Park, thanks to the vast range of activities on offer and the popularity of the arena with local children and teens.

Area Manager Mike Randall explains: “I’m a parent myself… and I know that parents who have to work during the holidays can sometimes feel guilty when they have to organise childcare or other activities for the kids while they are off school. Now they have the choice to visit Flip Out as a family while they’re not working, or drop the children off for a half day, full day or week-long sessions, where they will meet others the same age, grow in confidence, take on a range of physical challenges and learn lots of new skills.”

The line-up of activities has been devised by staff at the trampoline park to appeal to all interests, including arts and crafts, Little Ninja trick sessions, dodgeball and volleyball competitions, and basketball. There will also be trampolining skills sessions, a total wipeout tournament and themed days during the holidays including a pirate day and movie day.

Mr Randall adds: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be introducing the new summer holiday camp for 2017 at Flip Out Stoke. We hope the line-up of activities will make things a little easier for working parents, as well as ensuring local children and teens have lots of opportunities to have fun, socialise and be active during the school holidays. There is something for everyone and our staff are looking forward to keeping youngsters entertained.”

The camps will run from July 17 every weekday throughout the school holidays until September 1 with themed days as follows: Hawaiian Day on July 19, Pirate Day on July 26, Movie Day on August 2, French Day on August 9, Witch and Wizards Day on August 16, Favourite Animal Day on August 23 and Superhero Day on August 30.

Those who attend the sessions will be cared for by staff members holding level 3 childcare qualifications, with each session split into groups based on their age.

The Flip Out Stoke holiday camp is Ofsted registered and accepts childcare vouchers. A half-day holiday camp session (8am until 12.3pm or 1pm until 5.30pm) costs £20 per child, whilst a full day session (8am until 5.30pm) costs £37 per child. Children must bring packed lunches. A five day week camp costs £165 per child and includes a camp t-shirt and a 10 day camp costs £300 per child including a camp T-shirt. A further 10% discount will be applied when booking more than one child.

Flip Out Stoke will continue to be open to the public as normal through the school holidays, with up to 30 spaces available each day on the summer holiday camps. To book a place on the summer camp call 01785 719930. Advance booking is not essential, but is advised to avoid disappointment.
