Stone Food & Drink Festival crowds on Westbridge Park in 2016Tickets are already selling fast for Staffordshire’s biggest gastronomic gathering, set to take place on 6, 7 & 8 October on Stone’s Westbridge Park

Three-day tickets are currently subject to a special ‘Early Bird’ deal of £12 per ticket (normal price £15) for online purchases until Saturday 9th September 2017. From thereon online advance tickets will be available for a 10% discount on gate prices with the added bonus of a special ‘fast track’ ticket line to help beat the queues.
For the first time this year, card payments will also be taken on the gate with a speedy ‘touch & go’ service available for contactless card users on purchases up to £30. As in previous years, accompanied under 16s get into the event for free; making this a great value family day out.
Once they’ve entered Westbridge Park, visitors are in for a host of foodie fun all in their ticket price; including cookery demonstrations from top local chefs on the hour, every hour; the chance to discover and shop artisan food & drink products in the Gourmet Marquee and a packed programme of Talks & Tastings on topics ranging from prosecco, wine & beer to butchery demonstrations, Indian food and the art of making Barista-style coffees – to name just a few.
The Live Music stage will feature some great acts all three days and families are in for a treat on Saturday & Sunday with free shows and circus skills workshops in the Panic Circus Big Top; free kids’ cookery classes and a fun yet educational foodie treasure trail, with face painting and crafts are available at a small additional cost.
When it comes to dining and drinking visitors will be spoilt for choice – from global street food to genteel afternoon teas. A host of great local breweries and artisan cider makers will be in attendance plus there’s a bar dedicated to gin, fizz, wine & cocktails. Those wanting to get ‘hands on’ with food can also sign up for Cookery Masterclasses on cupcake decorating (£5pp) and authentic Indian food (£8pp), with advance booking strongly recommended.
The 2017 Stone Food & Drink festival will take place on Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th October. Ticket prices on the gate are £7pp/day or £15pp for a three-day pass (accompanied under 16s free) with concessions £3pp on Friday only.
