Stone Students Take the Stage in Elf the Musical Junior

Rooftop Studios’ Stage Academy students are set to take the stage at the Stoke Repertory theatre from 15th – 17th February in a production of Elf the Musical Jnr.

The talented young cast have been rehearsing during their regular Saturday classes, guided by a team of professional actors, singers and dancers to bring out their full potential, and the production will give them a feel for being part of a professionally produced show. Based on the beloved holiday film, the plot follows Buddy the Elf on his quest for his true identity and is perfect for families looking for a theatre experience for all ages to enjoy.

Studio director, Laura Keeling, says: “We’ve had so much fun rehearsing for Elf the Musical Jr – it’s the perfect mix of comedy and music for all the family to enjoy, and the kids have had a whale of a time preparing for what promises to be a great run. Regular opportunities to perform on stage are core to the Stage Academy’s ethos and one of the things that sets us apart from other stage schools – we’re really proud of the hard work pupils have put in to this show, and can’t wait to see them in action.”

Tickets to see Elf the Musical Jnr are £12.50 (£10 concessions), available from – to find out more about Rooftop Studios’ performing arts classes, including the Saturday Stage Academy, head to
