Staffordshire stately home wedding venue Sandon Hall will launch a competition to win a wedding reception during its Wedding Showcase event on Sunday 8th April
The hall has joined forces with award-winning caterer Vanilla in Allseasons and bar and music specialists The Estate Boys to offer a once-in-a-lifetime prize. One lucky couple will win a wedding reception at Sandon Hall on Saturday 27th April 2019 – and they won’t have to pay a penny for venue hire, catering or DJ.
The prize – worth almost £11,000 – includes exclusive use of the hall and gardens for a wedding reception party; catering including canapés, three-course wedding breakfast for up to 40 guests and evening sausage and bacon baps for up to 80 guests with the first-class service. The drinks package will include an arrival drink, a third of a bottle of wine per guest during the wedding breakfast, Cava or Prosecco for toasts and a paid bar service throughout. The Estate Boys will also provide a 5-hour DJ set with music tailored to the couple’s favourite genre.
The competition will be launched during the hall’s Wedding Showcase event on Sunday 8th April 2018 and couples will be able to enter on the day or via the Sandon Hall website, as General Manager at the hall, Cheryl Millward, explains:
“We’re hugely excited about this competition and it’s a delight to work with both Vanilla in Allseasons and The Estate Boys to offer such a comprehensive prize package. This really is the prize of a lifetime – the winning couple will organise their own ceremony, transport and will be able to put their stamp on the day as they will arrange their flowers and room décor.
“The competition is designed to be fun to be part of and couples will initially be asked to tell us their proposal story in 500 words or less, with photos and videos of the proposal welcomed to support their entry.”
The competition to win a wedding reception at Sandon Hall – including catering, drinks package and DJ – will officially launch at the hall’s Wedding Showcase event on Sunday 8th April and entries will close on Friday 4th May 2018.
