A new craze sweeping the nation is making its way to Stone this May
Arm knitting is a knitting technique which uses the knitter’s arms, instead of knitting needles, to create giant stitched creations, and you can learn how to do it at the new workshops being held at Fleur Tearooms by Susan Hughes from The Wool Boutique.
The workshops will take place on Wednesday 9th May at 10am, and Tuesday 22nd May at 7pm. Included is 2kg of yarn to make a small blanket, approximately 80cm x 80cm, expert tuition, and refreshments.
Susan, who has lived in Stone for 20 years, set up The Wool Boutique from home in October 2017.
She says “After previously working as a nurse, I am now a full time mum to my four boys. I fell in love with the jumbo creations arm knitting produces, and I hope the workshops will help people discover their own passion.”
