A collaboration between Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent Archive Service, Keele University and the Centre for West Midlands History at the University of Birmingham Staffordshire History Day will cover the whole county and take you from the middle ages to the twentieth century.
Held at Entrust HQ, Riverway Centre, Riverway, Stafford ST16 3TH on Saturday 28 April 2018 between 10.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m, tickets cost £25 per person, which includes lunch and refreshments. Spaces must be booked in advance through Staffordshire Record Office to avoid disappointment. If making payment online subsequently, please quote code SHD18. There will also be free onsite parking at the venue.
Gill Heath, Cabinet member for Communities at Staffordshire County Council said: “Staffordshire History Day is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about our ancient county. Staffordshire has such a rich and varied history, and we are incredibly fortunate to have such a fascinating past and heritage. Being able to work with both Keele and Birmingham Universities also means we have a great partnership and a brilliant range of speakers on the day”.
