Staffordshire Police have arrested three men on suspicion of drug offences after a police pursuit in Stone yesterday
Following an intelligence-led operation, officers pursued a blue Ford Focus along the A34 at 3.10pm on Wednesday 2nd May 2018. 5 minutes into the pursuit the car stopped at the Shell filling station at the Walton roundabout in Stone where one man was arrested.
The two other male occupants made off on foot but were later arrested following an area search involving the Staffordshire Police’s helicopter.
A substantial amount of what is believed to be cocaine, worth around £10,000, was recovered from the scene, along with a knife.
The three men, aged 30, 27 and 19, and all from Stoke-on-Trent, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and remain in custody at this time.
