Officers and staff from Staffordshire Police will be tweeting for 24 hours to give you a snapshot of the work that goes on within force every day
Starting at 7:30 am this morning (Wednesday 23rd May) Twitter updates will be posted from operational teams and support functions across the force. They will also be sharing a selection of statistics and information that will provide an in-depth look at the activities of these teams and the number of demands and incidents that they respond to on a typical day.
Chief Superintendent Wayne Jones, head of contact and response, said:
“This is a great opportunity for the officers around the force to share the work that they do with members of the public via Twitter. Many of the policing teams routinely update their Twitter accounts with activities and news from events they have been involved in, but today’s Twitterthon will also cover those areas not normally visible to the public. You can follow all tweets through the hashtag #SP24.”
