The sun shone down on Stone on Saturday as the Stone Festival parade made its way through the town to the carnival site at Westbridge Park
The crown jewel of the Stone Festival week is the local parade & carnival day, and thousands flocked down to soak it up.
The parade sets off from ABB, at the top of the town, before the paprocession and floats make their way down through Radford Street, Christchurch Way, Stafford Street and then onto Westbridge Park.
This years parade featured many local groups, nurseries and schools and the crowds lined the route to wave and clap them all through.
All the children involved in the parade looked like they were having the time of their lives, especially those on the big lorry floats. Well done to all of the groups and organisations that spent time decorating, costume making and taking part in the 2018 parade.
Once on the carnival site, there was a great mix of food, drink, activities, displays, fun fair rides and shows to keep the entire family happy.
Big thanks to Vantage Point Creative who once again provided this stunning photo selection of the parade and carnival.
