A business event this month will offer Staffordshire companies one-to-one expert advice
The Let’s Do Business exhibition takes place at Uttoxeter Racecourse on June 28, and advisors from the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub will be attending. The Growth Hub, which is sponsoring the event, will be on hand to tell businesses about more than 90 different business support programmes available in Staffordshire.
Nicola Kent, who runs the Growth Hub on behalf of the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “Let’s Do Business is expected to attract more than 1,000 visitors – making it the biggest business event in the county. This is the perfect opportunity to speak to one of our Growth Hub Advisors and the Business Helpline Advisor for one-to-one business support.
“We can signpost businesses to help them find the best way to grow. There are also more than 10 different grant programmes currently open and available to help companies buy equipment or machinery, pay for marketing assistance or implement low carbon technologies to help save businesses money.
“We will have details on all the grant and loan schemes, so we can help businesses work out what they are eligible for and advise them on the completion of the application forms.”
Organised by Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce and Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, the event will provide the chance for local companies to promote their products and services to decision makers from across the region.
