Stone Trent FC finish their first season with league win

Stone Trent FCStone Trent FC had a great first season together as a Club rounded off by winning the Uttoxeter & District Sunday League with two games to spare

The club finished their league campaign ahead of Uttoxeter Dominoes and Uttoxeter Town who finished 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

At the end of season awards, Sam Foster won the Player’s Player of the Year, an award voted for by his fellow team mates.
Danny Dolman took the Manager’s Player of the Year award while Carl Dibden icked up the teams Top Goalscorer award.

The sides debut season was managed by Luke Askey, and he was assisted by his dad Bob. It was a great start for the managers and team, winning silverware in their first season.

The club extended their gratitude to their two main sponsors, Planned Office Interiors and the Red Lion public house. Sponsors play a major part in ensuring the team can take part in playing in a league and it was fantastic for them to share in the success in Stone Trent FC’s first season victory.
