Stone Community Hub has been operating out of the Frank Jordan Centre in Stone for 7 years, and they need your help to keep going!
The Hub is completely self-financing, with all income coming from donations, membership subscriptions, fund raising projects and grants.
Manager Karen Wardell says: We are very grateful to the very generous residents of Stone for their donations to the food bank boxes in local supermarkets and banks, but we are also in need of financial donations to keep The Hub running.
The centre provides many services, including daily drop in centre, food bank, youth club, breast feeding support group, and craft sessions for parents and children. They also focus on combating social isolation, with a weekly meal for anyone needing company, and a knit & natter group. A job club giving help with applications and CVs helps people get back to work, along with computer and internet advice and help with form filling.
Just a small donation each month from a local resident or business or a one-off donation will help to secure these services for the future. If you think you can help please contact Karen Wardell at The Hub or by email – firstname.lastname@example.org
