Stone’s thriving local theatre company, Stone Revellers, have added an extra performance for their latest production.
“One Man, Two Guvnors” is a national theatre hit and it takes to the stage in Stone next week.
St Michael’s Hall, just off the bottom of the high street, is set to transform into 1960’s Brighton from next Wednesday as the Stone Revellers return with another huge comedy to celebrate their 40th year.
Ticket sales have been so strong for the production that the committee has taken the unprecedented step of releasing a further performance at 2.30pm on Saturday 15th September – for which there are just 50 tickets left with one week to go.
Producer Rob Stanway said:
“We are absolutely delighted to share this hilarious farce with even more people than first planned. Stone Revellers is an exciting place to be at the moment – the group is thriving and our audiences are really enjoying our shows. Not to mention our plans to work in partnership with Joules on Stone’s new theatre.“I want to urge anyone who has a passion for theatre in Stone to get involved and be part of it – whether on stage or in our production teams. The next opportunity to do that is with our Christmas Pantomine and then in Spring we will start work on our musical!”
Tickets are £12.50 / £10.50 Concessions and can be purchased in person at the Home & Colour Centre (on Stone High Street) or online at www.stonerevellers.org.uk. You can also follow Stone Revellers on all major social media.
