After a morning of light rain, the clouds cleared and Stone and its Cenotaph were showered in sunshine.
At 10:30am the 2018 Remembrance Parade started the proceedings as it marched from the bottom of the High Street up Cenotaph at Granville Square.
The parade featured young and old who marched with their wreaths to be laid at the Stone war memorial.
The crowds were some of the biggest we have ever seen and filled the top of the High Street and all around the town’s war memorial.
To mark the 100-year anniversary of the end of World War One, local school children read the names of Stones fallen soldiers, a truly humbling experience
There have been so many positive comments on our social media accounts about how fantastic the service and parade was.
