Food & Drink Festival gourmet marquees are open!

David Bott from Titanic Brewery gets ready to welcome visitors

The gourmet food marquees opened to the public at 1pm on Friday and, despite the rain, hundreds of people poured into the site in the first hour.

The site has been in construction all week and looks magnificent. There’s a huge gourmet food marquee, a Taste of Staffordshire marquee, Titanic beer tent (sure to be popular!) and brilliant cookery demonstration area.

In total, there are almost 90 food producers on site, including around 60 from Staffordshire. And there’s lots of Stone producers taking pride of place too, including Lymestone Brewery.

The site is open until 8pm on Friday and is open on Saturday and Sunday. Lots more information on the official website here.
