Back to the 70s for Stone Music Festival

Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry tribute band Roxy Magic have been revealed as the headline band for this year’s Stone Music Festival – with a great 70s-themed finale set to finish festival week in style!

Roxy Magic will headline the main stage in the High Street on Sunday 29th May. Also appearing on the Sunday will be 70s tribute band Ballroom Glitz – and everyone is being encouraged to turn up in 1970s clobber (with a prize for best outfit on the day).

This year’s Stone Music and Arts Festival will take place in the town from 23rd to 29th May. A Battle of the Bands competition was recently announced, and there will be plenty of other acts named over the next few weeks and months. Already lined up for the Saturday are U2 tribute band Actung Baby.

Festival organisers will be in the town centre on Saturday 5th February to spread the word at the farmers’ market and to promote the Friends of the Festival scheme. Dozens of residents have already signed up. At just £10, Friends get a bunch of festival offers.
