Police appeal over missing man, 77

Officers from Stone Neighbourhood Policing Unit (NPU) are appealing to the public for help in locating a 77-year-old man who went missing at the Trentham Estate today.

David Howard of Stafford was last seen in the main visitor centre at the gardens around noon, when he became parted from his wife.

Described as around 5’7” tall and of average to broad build, he was wearing a brown short jacket, dark brown trousers, dark walking boots with yellow stripy laces, black knitted gloves and a very large dark brown hat.

Sgt Alison Kent from Stone NPU said: “David does suffer from a medical condition and we are anxious to locate his whereabouts as soon as possible.

“If anyone has seen a man of this description this afternoon, they’re urged to contact Staffordshire Police on 0300 123 4455 quoting reference 332 of 7 March.”
