Warning after thefts from cars

Staffordshire Police have warned car owners in Stone to be vigilant after a number of thefts from vehicles between Christmas and New Year.

A grey Peugeot parked in Lichfield Road was targeted between 7.30pm on Sunday 30th December and 8.30am on Monday 31st, with offenders smashing the window and stealing an iPod. Another incident saw the rear registration plate stolen from a black Daihatsu that was parked in Copeland Drive on Saturday 29th December. Offenders also damaged the lock of a grey Volkswagen parked on Lichfield Road between 12.45pm and 5pm on Thursday 27th December but failed to gain entry.
