Lymestone Brewery are holding a Brewing Heritage Day at their Mount Road base to celebrate their fifth birthday in the town.

The free event is being held on 31st August from 12.30pm to 4pm – the brewery’s fifth birthday – at their base on the Mount Road industrial estate, which used to house Bents Brewery. Brad and Viv from Lymestone want to hear people’s memories on the day of brewing in the town.

Brad said: “If you have any memories of our town’s brewing past why not come and share them with us? Did Granny or Granddad, Auntie or Uncle work for a brewery here in Stone? Did they run a pub nearby? Maybe you have photos to show or stories to tell, or maybe you’re just keen to see what we’re doing with the old Bents Brewery. Either way there will be a chance to chat over a glass or two of our award-winning beers. It’s our birthday, so come and join the fun! Dogs and children welcome.”

Lots more coming up at the brewery on the Mount Road industrial estate in Stone…
