Stone station now has passenger information screens and public address speakers to keep passengers fully updated with train times and delays.
The station re-opened in 2008 and many passengers had complained about the lack of real-time information at the station.
A London Midland spokesman said: “As part of our franchise agreement, we are committed to improving customer satisfaction by providing real-time train running information in as many stations as we can.
“We have invested around £65, 000 in new information technology at Stone station. The screens and most of the public address speakers went live last week.
“The remaining speakers on platform one will be installed next week. We have also installed new Help Points.”
