The countdown is on for this year’s Stone Food and Drink Festival – and you can win a pair of three-day tickets (plus a glass of Champagne or a cocktail each from the brand new Piano Bar) in this competition.
There are events in the town from Saturday 28th September, with the big festival weekend from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th October.
The festival was first held in the town in 2005 and has gone from strength to strength. Westbridge Park is set to be bigger and better than ever before this year – over 100 stalls of artisan food and drink to browse in the Gourmet and Taste of Staffordshire Marquees, Staffordshire oatcakes being baked traditionally on-site , free kids’ cookery classes and toddler music sessions, the Titanic Beer Festival with live bands, exhibitor Talks & Tastings and the ever-popular cookery demonstrations with top local chefs.
Add gourmet dining in the Pop-up in the Park Piano Bar & Restaurant (from the Lewis Partnership and Old School Wines) – click HERE to book a table – and the High Street Farmers’ Market on Friday and Saturday, and it’s a sure-fire recipe for foodie heaven!
You should have got a programme through your door recently and it’s also available online at the Food and Drink Festival website HERE. You can buy tickets online and also at the Stone Food & Drink Festival office which is now open.
Located at The Market House, off Mill Street – opposite Subway and Bargain Booze (by kind permission of Tinsley Garner Estate Agents) – the office will be open daily from 10am to 1pm until Thursday 3rd October for ticket sales and general festival information.
