Santa will be travelling around Stone on his sleigh in the run-up to Christmas to raise money for charity.
Father Christmas is the special guest of Stone Round Table, which organises the special event each year. Keep an eye out for the man in red in the following areas from Thursday 12th December right up to the 22nd – and please give generously! He will be out and about for around two hours each day.
Thursday 12th December – Newcastle Road, 6pm
Saturday 14th December – North Stone, 4pm
Sunday 15th December – Pirehill and Walton, 4pm
Tuesday 17th December – Saxifrage Drive & Three Crowns pub area, 6pm
Thursday 19th December – Lichfield Road, 6pm
Saturday 21st December – Cherryfields and Whitebridge, 4pm
Sunday 22nd December – Aston Lodge, 4pm

Well i hope you remeber the coppice estate as you dont seem to both and its not fare. we live on the sidings and there is loads of kids that would love to see Santa

Hi Ange. The Santa sleigh charity fundraiser is organised by the Stone Round Table. I think they get to as many places as they can given their volunteer numbers and commitments etc

Having helped out last night, the guys said they only actually have 4 members now who organise it and completely rely on volunteers and groups to help. They had to cut down areas becuase of this which is such a shame (knowing how much my children love it) but they literally couldn’t do any more. We did Pirehill and Walton last night and it took 3 hours which was mostly in the pouring rain. It took 4.5 hours saturday! It’s a real shame if they can’t do your area but they do everything they can.
