This year marks the 10th anniversary of Stone Food & Drink Festival.
A Little Bit of Stone has teamed up with the festival to run 10 competitions to mark this big anniversary.
Over the past decade, the Stone Food & Drink Festival has grown from humble beginnings in the High Street into one of the Midlands’ biggest and busiest food festivals. Always taking place the first weekend in October, the event sees Stone’s pubs, bars and foodie businesses get into the festival spirit with a week-long programme of quizzes, themed meals and special offers leading up to the ‘big weekend’ itself.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the main festival site on Westbridge Park are a flurry of activity, with live cookery demonstrations, shopping in the Gourmet Food Marquee, talks, tastings, a beer festival with live music, gourmet dining in the pop up restaurant, street food and much, much more.
Here’s the first competition!
The first prize is two tickets for the main festival site on Westbridge Park for the first day of the festival, Friday 3rd October. Gates will open at noon and there’s late-night opening until 7pm. Some of Staffordshire’s best chefs will be demonstrating their skills throughout the day starting at 1pm, on the hour, every hour. There will be over 100 stalls offering everything and anything to do with food and drink, as well as samplings, tastings, demonstrations, Gourmet Marquee, Taste of Staffordshire marquee, afternnon teas, Titanic’s ‘Best of Staffordshire’ beer tent, live music, children’s rides and more!
