Buses along Newcastle Road will be re-routed when roadworks for Meaford Business Park start on Monday 26th October for two months.
Newcastle Road will be closed to traffic from the A34, with diversions in place, although Staffordshire County Council says access for householders on Newcastle Road will be maintained throughout the works. Full details on the roadworks HERE.
Northbound buses along Newcastle Road towards the A34 will be unaffected. However, southbound buses won’t be able to turn into Newcastle Road at the usual place at the Fillybrooks roundabout but will instead turn into Trent Road and then right on to Newcastle Road. A temporary bus stop will be put in between the Trent Road junction and the railway bridge, about 150 metres from the normal bus stop.
