Lin has previously served on both the Town and the Borough Council. She and Jim settled in Stone in 1992 on Jim’s posting to RAF Stafford from where he left active service after 27 years.

Lin has been busy as a volunteer in many local community organisations and is a member of the ministry team at the churches of St Michael & St Wulfad, and St Saviour.

In 2018 she masterminded a community project involving Oak Tree Farm to produce 1,000 ceramic poppies to mark the centenary of the Armistice.

Lin says: “People are my focus and, if elected, I will continue to be an independent servant of the people of Stone and fight to keep Stone’s unique identity.”

Not currently a councillor but has previously served various terms as Councillor

What are the top 5 issues that you think affect the residents of Stone over the next 5 years?

Stone Independents operate as a team with a common set of objectives. These are set out in their manifesto which can be found on their website – https://stoneindependents.org/our-manifesto/

How will you keep in touch with your constituent’s concerns?

We are highly contactable through phone, email and social media including our website and FB pages.  We welcome being approached to listen to residents’ concerns. Serving councillors are active in working with local residents and residents groups.
