Welcome to the A Little Bit of Stone Pub and Restaurant Re-Opening Guide for 2021. This guide lists Stone pubs, restaurants and cafes detailing what their plans are for re-opening following the relaxation of the Covid lockdown guidelines.
One of the massive “Reasons to be cheerful” is the fantastic array of Stone based food and drink establishments, here we’ve reached out and compiled this useful guide. The hospitality business has struggled throughout the pandemic but all of the Stone businesses want to ensure that when they re-open it’s done in a manageable and safe way.
There are 2 key milestone dates: 12th April 2021 – outdoor seated service only and 17th May 2021 – indoor service allowed. Please see details at the end of the article for more information on things like party sizes.

From the 12th April 2021 – customers must order, eat and drink while seated at a table.
Unlike the previous re-opening, there’s no requirement to order a substantial meal with alcoholic drinks – and there’ll be no 10 pm curfew.
Customers must also follow either the rule of six or be in a group of any size as long as there are no more than two households present.
When people are not seated – for example, when they’re being shown to a table or going to the toilet – customers must wear face masks, follow one-way systems and observe social distancing.
From the 17th May 2021 – Hospitality venues can open up their doors and seat customers indoors. Inside parties can be made up of a maximum of six people or two households of any size, groups seated outside must be smaller than 30 people.
