Mother and son expand their Trentham based dry cleaning business, Suitcase Dry Cleaners, by taking over the former Mayfair Dry Cleaners on Stafford Street in Stone.
Suitcase Dry Cleaners was established at Trentham in 1988 and have chosen Stone as the destination for their second outlet.
We asked the mother and son team, Beverley and Jack Hardy, about their new Stone operation:
“We are really excited to be opening a branch in Stone. We spotted that there was a gap in the market that we could fill, giving Stone a full clothes care facility.
The building is ideal as it sits in a prime position for the town, has good passing traffic and there’s good parking nearby to allow for customers to drop off and collect items.”
Beverley went on to explain what Suitcase Drycleaners would be able to offer to residents and visitors to Stone:
“Our family-run business puts particular emphasis on providing the best possible customer service, coupled with our decades of experience.
We want to become an integral part of the town and hope to be able to offer a unique experience with our knowledge and expertise in the field of clothing care.
We offer all aspects of dry cleaning ie; all clothing, including technical and fashion outdoor wear..household including curtains, throws, upholstery covers..we also launder bedding, shirts, school blazers etc.
In addition we have an incredibly experienced seamstress for alterations and repairs..she originates from London having worked for such designers as Zandra Rhodes and other fashion houses.”
In terms of opening times the Jack told us:
“We are open Tuesday to Friday, from 10am to 4pm and Saturday 9.30am until 12.30pm
