Little Dots joins up childrenswear, toys and accessories with a family-friendly cafe

Little Dots StoneThis Spring, Little Dots will be taking over the former Clover unit on Stone High Street to create a child-focused store and cafe.

Samantha Rowley-Corns, a new local mum, will turn her young daughter, Lottie’s, inspiration into a new family-centric store and cafe: Little Dots.

Speaking to A Little Bit of Stone, Samantha explained what made her take on the former Clover on Stone High High Street:

“With over 15 years of experience in the leisure and hospitality industry, I have always wanted to have a place of my own.  Last year, I became a proud mummy to my very own ‘Little Dot’, Lottie, who was the inspiration behind the brand.

Having a baby completely changes your perspective on life.  Whilst the timing may seem crazy, having just had a baby, I thought it was now or never.  I wanted to show Lottie that you can achieve anything if you are determined enough!”

As Little Dots is a brand-new business, we wanted to hear what made Samantha choose Stone for LIttle Dots:

“Stone has charm and character, plus I love the independent shops and boutiques.  Rogue is my go-to! I’ve always had my eye on the unit, and when it became available, I knew it was my time to make a go of it.”
Going on to explain what Little Dots is all about, Samantha told us:

“Little Dots is a children’s concept store that combines retail, food, and beverage with a focus on quality and sustainability. We want to create a joyful experience for both children and adults.

I want Little Dots to offer a place where customers feel welcome and part of our family, surrounded by products which bring sunshine to their day.

We will offer vibrant and playful children’s clothes that are carefully crafted and made to last. Alongside the clothing, there will also be toys and accessories for young children. The shop will be full of bright, bold, playful designs from little-known designers. It’s important to me to ethically source our products, so we will specialise in sustainable handmade products sourced locally where we can. We want to be known for quality products that can be passed on.”

As if all of this isn’t enough, Little Dots will also have its very only family-friendly cafe:

“Our coffee shop will be a place to enjoy delicious treats in a cosy atmosphere, served by a friendly, happy, and accommodating team.

Our cafe will be simple but delicious. On weekdays, our focus will be on drinks, snacks, and cakes. On Saturdays, we will serve a family-friendly brunch menu in ‘big dot’ and ‘little dot’ portions. We will source locally where we can and support BCorp-certified businesses.

Our is aim is for Little Dots to be a place for parents and caregivers looking for a place that is accommodating and welcoming.

Little Dots isn’t just a shop or a café; we want to put families at the heart of everything we do!

We want Little Dots to be a hub for the local parenting community.  We will be reaching out to groups and classes to see how we can support one another.
Little Dots will be opening later this Spring, check out their Instagram @LittleDotsKids or their website littledots.co.uk for their latest news!

When open, Little Dots will be open at 17-17a High Street on Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:30am until 5:00pm
