Tea-riffic News – Bubble Cup Boba’s frothy delights arriving in Stone

Bubble Cup Boba LogoStone’s first bubble tea shop, Bubble Cup Boba,  is set to open its doors on Radford Street this Spring – here’s what you need to know!

The popularity of bubble tea has been sweeping the globe, and now it’s time for Stone to get in on the action.

In what is most definitely a family affair, the team behind Bubble Cup Boba spoke to A Little Bit of Stone about their new venture!

Leveraging their experience operating a mobile Bubble Tea catering trailer, Tina Ballinger, her mother-in-law Liz Harris, and Tina’s twin sister Gemma Smith are ready to bring Bubble Tea to Stone’s residents, town centre workers, and visitors.

Stone born Tina told us:

“We decided to set up a permanent base in Stone after we realised that there was a gap in the market for bubble tea.

For the past 6 months, we have operated a mobile Bubble Tea catering trailer that we take to events. This has given us the experience and confidence to invest in setting up a shop in the town, and we can’t wait to open our doors.

We’ll be just up Radord Street, in the former Feel Warm showroom, so customers can easily pop in and see us!”

Tina explains a bit more about what Bubble Cup Boba will be offering:

“Typically, Bubble Cup Boba customers will be aged between 6 to 30, but we are open to all ages willing to try something new! Inclusivity is important to us so our menu will cater for allergies and offer vegan-friendly options.

We aim to offer a unique bubble tea experience with customisable flavours and textures. In addition to bubble tea, we will offer bubble waffles, savoury snacks, and noodle pots.

Our social media wall will be the place for customers to snap a picture, or grab a video for their socials!

While we expect most of our sales to be takeaway, we will have a small seating area inside the shop and we plan to offer delivery options in the future, too!”

Bubble Cup Boba will open in mid-April at 5 Radford Street, just up from the High Street. Once open, they will be open daily except Mondays, from 12 pm until 6 pm, with plans.
