Opening soon – Cavalli set to raise the bar for Indian dining in Stone

In a few weeks, Stone will welcome Cavalli, a brand-new Indian restaurant located at the former Mojos.

The new owners have spent half a million pounds on the restaurant project, gutting and refitting the place from top to bottom.

One of the co-owners, Ash Miah, explained to us that they have similar but distinctively individual venues in Leek, Manchester, and London. Their Stone offering aims to blend high-quality styling with excellent service and classic Indian cuisine.

Experienced Culinary Team

Cavalli’s kitchen team includes chefs specialising in authentic Indian cuisine, including one who worked at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Dubai. The menu will offer a variety of dishes, including vegetarian and vegan options, so there will be something for everyone.

Fresh New Interior

Cavalli aims to create a unique atmosphere and ambience with their interior styling. The restaurant can seat approximately 120 diners and includes an upstairs area designated for private parties and events. The project has been underway for the past six months, transforming the building into a modern and inviting space, and we can’t wait to see it finally completed.

October Opening Planned

Work is going ahead at a frantic pace, with the restaurant opening in a couple of weeks – exact date to be confirmed. Cavalli will operate seven days a week from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., extending to 11 p.m. on weekends. A collection takeaway service will also be available.

New Management and Ownership

Cavalli is under new management and is not affiliated with its predecessor, Mojos. The team is excited to be a part of Stone’s restaurant scene and can’t wait to welcome Stone residents through the doors.

Reservations and Upcoming Updates

Reservations and bookings can be made by calling 01785 816161, including for Christmas Day lunch and Christmas party bookings!

The restaurant plans to launch social media accounts soon to provide updates on the opening and menu offerings – we’ll be sure to share them when we have them.
