The new retail development serving the communities at the southeast end of Stone consists of five units, the largest of which is a Co-op food store.
Central England Cooperative Limited has recently applied for a Premises Licence for the Sale of Alcohol Monday through Sunday, from 07:00 to 22:00.
Joining the Co-op will be a fish & chip shop, and a large veterinarian group will be taking two of the units for a new vet’s surgery.

That leaves a single unit, highlighted red in the image, of 1,000 sqft in size left to let. Anyone interested in the unit should contact Ian Simpson at Helicon Projects. heliconprojects@gmail.com or 07966 404927
So far, the development is planned to open around February 2025.
Location of the development is the muddy square in this Google Maps link.

Perhaps the drive entrance to the shops and the houses will be named Farnham Drive as a tribute to the former Stone Counciler Joyce Farnham who proposed adding the shops to the development.

This is the fulfillment of a feature in the original plan for the estate of over 40 years. Better late than never.

Pity it’s a takeaway. There’s enough litter to be picked up in Little Stoke already. Shops and vets great addition.
