A familiar team with a bold new vision
Located at 1-2 Contract House on Stafford Street, Studio Four is the result of a shared vision by four stylists—Lucy, Alex, Sophie, and Jess—who have worked together for over eight years. Speaking about the decision to branch out on their own, Lucy Besford explained,
“We felt it was the right time to become our own bosses and bring something unique to Stone. We’ve all worked in the area for a long time, so staying local was essential for us and our clients.”

The team’s decision to open on Stafford Street, next to the popular Oatcakes and Milkshakes café, reflects their commitment to remaining a central part of Stone’s community. “We came across an opportunity, and we went for it,” Lucy shared. “Being in Stone has always been important to us and our clients.”
The salon is accessible for wheelchair users, close to Stone’s dedicated disabled car park.
